由中国金属学会（CSM）、印度金属学会（IIM）、日本铁钢协会（ISIJ）和韩国金属学会（KIM）共同主办，湖南钢铁集团有限公司协办的“第九届亚洲钢铁大会”（Asia Steel 2024）将于2024年9月4-7日在湖南省长沙市召开。
通知发出后受到了国际钢铁冶金领域同行们的广泛关注，众多国际知名专家学者将出席本次会议，重点围绕冶金基础理论、工艺、产品、应用、智能化、数字化、绿色化、低碳等方向展开学术交流。本次会议工作语言为英语，将设大会特邀报告、分会场技术交流、展览展示、墙报交流等内容，摘要提交截止日期为2024年2月28日。
